Quality Centre 10.0 Essentials (QCS)

Training Overview: Overview This hands-on course provides the tools you need to implement and utilize Quality Center 10. Students learn how to manage quality information throughout the development cycle, from constructing requirements, designing and executing tests, and monitoring defects, through site administration and customization.

BAC 7.0 Essentials (BAC-E)

Training Overview: This entry-level, instructor-led classroom training offers technical personnel who are new to Business Availability Center 7.5 the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in applying the fundamental concepts, principles and methodologies for managing the administration and configuration aspects of this best-in-class enterprise software performance monitoring and service management solution. This course is highly recommended for individuals who are responsible for providing operational visibility into the performance and availability aspects of mission-critical applications.

LoadRunner 9.0 Web Suite (LRWS)

Training Overview: This five-day course introduces students to LoadRunner 9.0. The course covers topics for VuGen, the Controller, and Analysis tools. It also includes a final, hands-on lab. The Virtual User Generator (VuGen) is a scripting tool used to record and run user actions on the application to be load tested. This course focuses on planning, creating, and enhancing Virtual User (Vuser) scripts using VuGen in the Web environment.

Data Protector Fundamentals (DPF)

Training Overview: This five-day instructor-led course provides the essential knowledge such that storage administrators can install, configure and manage HP Software Storage Data Protector. The hands-on lab exercises re-enforce the theory sessions to ensure a thorough understanding of backup and recovery concepts, the functionality of the software and its application to typical storage implementations.

Service Manager 7.10 Essentials (SM-E)

Training Overview: This course provides students with the skills needed to effectively use and manage the HP Service Manager 7.10 software product. This course focuses teaching the processes embedded in Service Manager as well as implementing and configuring Service Manager to match the processes, policies, and procedures in the student's environment. This 5-day course is a mixture of lectures and hands-on exercises.

Managing HP StorageWorks Enterprise Array (UC420)

Training Overview: This 4-day course combines theory and practical labs to teach users how to manage the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual array. The concepts and terminology are covered in-depth followed by configuration tasks which include Command View EVA 3.3, OpenView Storage Management Appliance 2.1, Snapshots, Snapclones, Business Copy 2.3, Secure Path Management, scripting with SSSU, and Introduction to OV-SOM and Continuous Access EVA.

Managing and Monitoring Insight Control Suite (HE644)

Training Overview: This 4-day course equips students with the skills and knowledge to plan, deploy and configure the management and monitoring capabilities of Insight Control Environment. Students will spend the majority of the time learning to use HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) for managing systems and performing collections, along with inventory and fault management. The course will also cover the integration of various options within Insight Control Environment for performance, patch management and virtualization.

HP BladeSystem Administration (HE646)

Training Overview: In this 3 day course, students will learn how to successfully deploy and manage HP BladeSystem servers. A brief architecture overview will ensure students understand the components of the HP Bladesystem solutions. The system administration components will provide coverage of IP networking, HP Onboard Administrator, HP Virtual Connect and network storage. The course then focuses on the HP BladeSystem c-Class and p Class server deployment and management using the software applications and tools from Insight Control Environment.
