Overview Nortel WLAN 2300 Implementation and Management is a three–day course that describes the WLAN 2300 applications, hardware, network architecture, installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting steps required to implement this WLAN solution. Students will learn how to configure, manage, and troubleshoot the WLAN 2300 Series Security Switches and access points through lecture and hands–on lab exercises.
Pre-Requisites
Students planning to attend this course should have a working knowledge of the following technologies and concepts:
Data networking concepts, Wireless networking, Internet Protocol (IP) addressing, Switching and routing, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Internet Group management Protocol (IGMP), 802.1Q protocol and Microsoft Windows XP interface.
Students should also have knowledge of WLAN fundamentals.
